LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!
You've
heard it before, and it's true. The location is a key factor to
the value of a home. There are three aspects to location.
First,
the city the house is in. A home that is situated near the coast
is going to have more value than a home situated inland. Second,
the very neighborhood the home is located in can effect it's
value as well. Thirdly, even where in the neighborhood the home
is situated can effect the value.
When
making your offer, you should consider if the home backs to a
major street, is it in a cul-de-sac, or is it at the entrance of
the neighborhood. All these factors add to "location"
and will affect your offer and what the value of the home is.
